This year we are celebrating 90 years of providing affordable homes in Grayshott. Following the publication of our milestone booklet (1935-2025), we marked the anniversary with a traditional afternoon tea party to bring residents, supporters, and friends of the association together.
Around 60 guests joined us for the celebration, including residents, the local MP, councillors, and long-time supporters. It was a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon, and a chance to reflect on how the association has grown over nine decades while keeping the same core purpose: supporting the village with well-managed, affordable homes.
Teresa Jamieson, G&DHA Chairman, welcomed everyone and spoke about our early benefactors, key milestones, and more recent projects that have helped modernize and improve our homes. We were also pleased to hear from Linda Wallace, Chief Executive of the Petersfield Housing Association, who kindly said: "Thank you for being such a great example of what local housing associations can achieve - it certainly inspires me!"

We were delighted to welcome Gregory Stafford MP, along with local councillors, and we appreciated the time they took to join the celebration and speak with residents and trustees.
A big thank you goes to Trish from Flying Saucer Vintage Crockery Hire for the loan of the cake stands, and to Grayshott Pottery for the decorations. Special thanks as well to Grayshott singer-songwriter Jim Cozens for providing the entertainment and helping make the afternoon feel like a proper occasion.
Thank you to everyone who attended, helped organize the event, and supported the association over the years. It was a fitting way to celebrate 90 years, and we look forward to building on that legacy in the years ahead.
